1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for subscriptions to Social Layer. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Subscription Payments
Social Layer is offered as a subscription-based service. Charges are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected).
3. Consumer Right to Cancel
If you are a Consumer and unless the below exception applies, you have the right to cancel this Agreement and return the Product within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day after completion of the Transaction.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send us your communication concerning your exercise of the cancellation right before the expiration of the 14 day period.
4. Refund Eligibility
If you believe you were charged in error or experienced a technical issue that prevented you from using the Service, you may request a refund within 7 days of the original purchase date (subject to the 14-day consumer right above).
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
5. Non-Refundable Cases
Except where required by law (including the 14-day consumer right), refunds are generally not provided for:
- Partial use of a subscription period
- Renewal charges after the refund window has passed
- Failure to cancel a subscription before the renewal date
- Changes in personal circumstances or dissatisfaction unrelated to technical issues
